Panoramic Photography

Some views are too wide for a single frame. Each of these panoramas is stitched from a series of overlapping photographs, so the finished picture takes in the whole scene: a harbour from one pier to the other, a field from hedge to hedge, a bay from headland to headland.

Most were taken in places that appear elsewhere on this site, from St Ives and St Michael's Mount in Cornwall to the fields at Catherine-de-Barnes near Solihull, Westonbirt Arboretum in autumn and the rooftops of Lisbon.
